National Council of Disability Organisations of Slovenia(NSIOS)
NSIOS (Nacionalni svet invalidskih organizacij Slovenije) is Slovenia's cross-disability umbrella body connecting 24 national disability organisations and more than 210 local associations, collectively representing over 115,000 people with disabilities. As a full member of the European Disability Forum, NSIOS coordinates national advocacy and legislative engagement.

Nacionalni svet invalidskih organizacij Slovenije (NSIOS), the National Council of Disability Organisations of Slovenia, is headquartered in Ljubljana and unites 24 national disability organisations and more than 210 local associations. NSIOS is a full member of the European Disability Forum (EDF) and is the primary coordinator of disability sector advocacy before Slovenian state bodies.
What They Do
NSIOS represents disability organisations in dialogue with state bodies, public institutions, and professional associations. It actively participates in preparing new regulatory acts affecting people with disabilities, proposes legislative amendments, and coordinates the disability policy positions Slovenia brings to EU-level advocacy through the EDF.
