About

The Oklahoma Disability Law Center (ODLC) has served as Oklahoma's official Protection and Advocacy (P&A) system since 1977. Headquartered at 4334 NW Expressway, Suite 124 in Oklahoma City, ODLC administers multiple federally funded programmes covering developmental disabilities, mental illness, individual rights, assistive technology, and Social Security beneficiaries.

What They Do

ODLC provides information and referral on legal rights, client advocacy including negotiation and representation at hearings, and monitoring of facilities serving people with disabilities for safety and rights compliance. The organisation also conducts investigations into abuse and neglect and delivers training and education on disability law to individuals, families, and professionals across Oklahoma.

Who They Serve

Oklahomans with all types of disabilities — developmental, psychiatric, physical, and sensory — with all services provided free of charge and grounded in the principle that people with disabilities have the right to self-determination and community inclusion.
