Pacific ADA Center

The Pacific ADA Center is the federal Region IX node of the ADA National Network, providing information, training, and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act across California, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, and Pacific Basin territories. It helps businesses, governments, and people with disabilities understand and apply federal disability rights laws.

About

The Pacific ADA Center is the designated Region IX resource of the ADA National Network, one of ten regional centres funded by the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR). Hosted by the Public Health Institute, it is based in Oakland, California.

What They Do

The centre provides free information and referral services, in-depth training, consultation, and technical assistance on the Americans with Disabilities Act and related federal laws. In 2021, the centre delivered over 380 training sessions to more than 56,000 participants from business, government, and the disability community.

Who They Serve

The Pacific ADA Center serves California, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada, and the Pacific Basin territories of American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands, supporting businesses, state and local government agencies, and people with all types of disabilities.
