PNG Assembly of Disabled Persons(PNGADP)
PNG Assembly of Disabled Persons (PNGADP) is the national umbrella body representing organisations of persons with disabilities in Papua New Guinea, initiated in 2002 to promote and protect disability rights. PNGADP facilitates networks between government, NGOs, and local DPOs to advance inclusion for all Papua New Guineans with disabilities.

PNG Assembly of Disabled Persons (PNGADP) is the national umbrella body representing organisations of persons with disabilities in Papua New Guinea, initiated in 2002 during an empowerment and leadership training event in Lae, Morobe Province. PNGADP works to promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities and advocates for their full participation as dignified members of Papua New Guinean society.
What They Do
PNGADP facilitates national development processes, fosters networking and communication between government agencies and NGOs, builds capacity within local disability organisations, and advocates at the policy level for disability-inclusive legislation and services. The organisation works to ensure persons with disabilities are not excluded from national development planning and humanitarian responses.

Persons with all types of disabilities across Papua New Guinea's diverse provinces and island regions, through coordination of national member organisations and engagement with government, international agencies, and community groups.
