Secretaría Nacional de Discapacidad(SENADIS)
SENADIS is the Panamanian government's leading institution for disability inclusion, created by Law 42 of 1999 to formulate and execute public policies that guarantee the rights of persons with disabilities. It coordinates disability certification, promotes equal opportunities, and oversees compliance with disability-related regulations across all public and private sectors.

The Secretaría Nacional de Discapacidad (SENADIS) was established through Law 42 of 27 August 1999 as the lead Panamanian government institution for persons with disabilities. Headquartered in Clayton, Panama City, its mission is to promote an inclusive, solidary society based on the recognition and full enjoyment of human rights, contributing to overcoming inequity, exclusion, and discrimination.
What They Do
SENADIS formulates and executes national disability policy, coordinates programmes and projects across government agencies, issues disability certifications, supervises compliance with disability regulations, and promotes equal opportunities for persons with disabilities in education, employment, and public life. It also administers the national disability registry through CONADIS.
