Shaw Trust is the UK's largest employment and skills charity, supporting disabled and disadvantaged people to find and sustain meaningful work through Individual Placement and Support programmes, vocational training, and community projects. It was founded in the village of Shaw, Wiltshire in 1982.

About

Founded in 1982 and headquartered in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, Shaw Trust has grown to employ around 3,000 staff and 600 volunteers across more than 200 sites in England, Wales, and Scotland. It has been formally recognised as an IPS Centre of Excellence for its supported employment methodology.

What They Do

Shaw Trust delivers employment support programmes including Thrive into Work (London), Individual Placement and Support services, vocational training, and a community grants programme through which disabled people allocate funding to disability-inclusion projects. It also operates 32 charity shops across the UK.
