Shaw Trust was founded in 1982 as a small horticultural workshop for disabled people in Wiltshire. It has grown into the UK's largest not-for-profit provider of employment support and vocational rehabilitation, operating across England, Scotland, and Wales. It delivers major government-funded programmes including Restart, Thrive into Work, and specialist employability services.

Shaw Trust delivers employment support programmes for disabled people and those with mental health conditions, runs education and training academies, and provides alternative provision for young people.
