Community of Associations of Persons with Disabilities of Croatia(SOIH)

SOIH is Croatia's national umbrella body for persons with disabilities, bringing together 16 national associations and over 250 local organisations throughout the country. Through advocacy, education, counselling, and public campaigns, SOIH promotes inclusion and works to eliminate discrimination against people with disabilities in all areas of Croatian life.

Zajednica saveza osoba s invaliditetom Hrvatske (SOIH) is headquartered at Savska cesta 3, Zagreb, and serves as the principal disability umbrella body in Croatia. SOIH is a member of the European Disability Forum (EDF), Disabled Peoples' International (DPI), and the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL).

What They Do

SOIH coordinates the activities of its 16 national disability associations, engages in legislative advocacy, produces accessible information resources, and delivers counselling services to people with disabilities and their families. It campaigns on issues including accessible transport, barrier-free built environments, employment, and independent living.
