About
SUSTENTO (Latvijas Cilvēku ar īpašām vajadzībām sadarbības organizācija) is the national umbrella organisation for disability groups in Latvia, based in Riga. As a full member of the European Disability Forum, SUSTENTO represents the collective voice of people with disabilities and chronic illnesses in Latvian policy-making.
What They Do
SUSTENTO engages government on policy reforms ensuring non-discrimination and full inclusion, provides consultations on accessibility, legal advice, and information services. The organisation also supports employment of people with disabilities through ESF-funded projects, offering group consultations to employers on hiring and retaining workers with disabilities.
