About this resource

About

CeDaR was developed and is maintained by the National Center for College Students with Disabilities with U.S. Department of Education funding. Data was gathered from a nationwide survey of higher education institutions and has been updated since 2002.

What It Does

Users can search by institution name or use advanced filters to find disability services offices that offer specific supports—such as academic coaching, tutoring, alternative format materials, or assistive technology—making it easier to compare institutions before applying. Nearly 700 campuses have provided detailed information about their disability resource programmes.

Who It Helps

Prospective and current college students with any disability and their families, as well as secondary school transition specialists helping students identify postsecondary campuses with strong disability support infrastructures.
