The HEATH Resource Center is managed by The George Washington University's Graduate School of Education and Human Development in partnership with the HSC Foundation's National Youth Transitions Center. Since 2000, HEATH has served as a trusted national clearinghouse on postsecondary education rights and opportunities for people with disabilities, publishing and archiving practical guidance across the full higher education journey.
HEATH publishes free resource papers, fact sheets, and directories organised by topic: the college application process, how to choose an accessible campus, understanding accommodation rights (and how they differ from K–12 IEP and 504 protections), disability-related financial aid, and graduate school options. Its website is structured for easy navigation by students, families, and the professionals supporting them.
Prospective and current college students with disabilities, parents and families engaged in transition planning, high school guidance counsellors, and disability service professionals seeking up-to-date guidance on postsecondary rights and resources.
