About this resource

About

Help Me Grow is a national network model first developed in Connecticut and now operating through affiliate sites across the United States, supported by Nationwide Children's Hospital and federal early childhood partnerships. The model focuses on bridging the gap between universal developmental screening in medical settings and the community services families need to act on those concerns.

What It Does

Help Me Grow affiliates operate centralised access points — phone warm lines, online chat portals, and searchable service directories — that connect caregivers with IDEA Part C early intervention services, parenting programmes, child care resources, and developmental specialists. The national centre provides affiliate development, training, shared data infrastructure, and federal policy advocacy to expand the model across new communities.

Who It Helps

Families of children from birth through age eight who have developmental concerns or need guidance navigating early childhood services, as well as paediatricians, child care providers, and home visitors who make referrals on behalf of at-risk families.
