Lexia Core5 Reading, developed by Lexia Learning (a Rosetta Stone company), is one of the most extensively researched reading intervention programmes in the US. It is built on the structured literacy approach endorsed by the International Dyslexia Association and aligns with the science of reading.
The programme delivers self-paced, game-like lessons across six areas of reading development: phonological awareness, phonics, structural analysis, automaticity and fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. An intelligent adaptive engine adjusts difficulty in real time, and a teacher dashboard (MyLexia) provides skill-based reports to inform small-group instruction. Available on web, iPad, and as a desktop app.
