Math with JAWS and Fusion

About this resource

JAWS provides spoken, natural-language descriptions of math expressions using the same terms a teacher would use to explain them in a classroom. This enables students using JAWS or Fusion to read mathematical expressions as their sighted peers do.

To interact with math, JAWS uses MathCAT to translate math content from web pages and Word documents to speech and Braille as well as offer numerous customization options. Currently, JAWS MathCAT support is only available for English.
