Established in December 2015 and funded by the U.S. Department of Education through FIPSE, the National Center for College Students with Disabilities (NCCSD) is a joint effort of the Institute on Community Integration at the University of Minnesota and the Association on Higher Education And Disability (AHEAD). It serves students of any age, any disability, in any type of postsecondary programme.
NDCSD's Clearinghouse and Resource Library organises practical guides by audience — students, parents, faculty, and disability services staff. Its flagship tool, the Campus Disability Resource (CeDaR) Database, provides contact information and detailed resource listings for nearly every degree-granting college and university in the US, making it easy for students to find the right campus office before or after enrollment.
College students with any disability seeking accommodations or peer support; parents and family members navigating postsecondary options; disability services professionals; and faculty looking for inclusive teaching resources.
