NTACT:C (National Technical Assistance Center on Transition: the Collaborative) is funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Rehabilitation Services Administration to support state VR agencies, secondary schools, and transition professionals in improving post-school outcomes for students with disabilities. Its comprehensive online content library at transitionta.org is freely accessible to all.
The site provides evidence-based practice guides, pre-employment transition service (Pre-ETS) toolkits, interagency collaboration resources, and webinar training covering the five required Pre-ETS activities under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Resources are organized by topic area — employment, post-secondary education, and independent living — and include FAQs, case studies, and policy guides for state VR agencies.
NTACT:C primarily serves secondary and transition-age students aged 14 to 22 with any disability, along with the educators, vocational rehabilitation counselors, and families who support them. School districts, state VR agencies, and transition programs across all 50 states use its training materials and policy guides to improve student post-school employment and education outcomes.
