The National Technical Assistance Center on Transition: The Collaborative (NTACT:C) is co-funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) and the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA). It brings together a national collaborative of university partners to produce and disseminate practical, research-validated transition resources aligned with the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
The site hosts Predictors of Post-School Success research reviews, a searchable lesson plan library, transition planning tools for IEP teams, and practice guides covering job exploration counselling, work-based learning, workplace readiness, self-advocacy, and postsecondary counselling. Resources are freely downloadable and span the full range of disability categories.
Students with disabilities ages 14 through 21 who are planning their transition to post-school life, and the educators, vocational rehabilitation counsellors, transition specialists, and families who help design and implement their individualised transition plans.
