About this resource

About

SnapType Pro was created by an occupational therapist who saw students struggling to complete handwritten worksheets. The app takes any existing paper worksheet and makes it digitally accessible in seconds — students photograph the page, then type answers directly onto the image.

What It Does

Students snap a photo of a worksheet, PDF, or printed document. They can then type answers into text boxes placed on the image, use word prediction, adjust font size, and submit completed work digitally. Works without requiring teachers to pre-create digital materials. Integrates with Google Classroom, Seesaw, and other LMS platforms. The basic version is free; Pro adds word prediction and extended features.

Who It Helps

Students in elementary through high school with dysgraphia, fine motor difficulties, occupational therapy goals, or any physical condition making handwriting difficult. Commonly used as a low-tech, low-cost AT accommodation that fits naturally into existing classroom workflows.
